Facility and Pool Rules

  1. All members must sign in at the front desk and register their guests.
  2. Pool use is limited to general operating hours, unless attending a specific Club-sanctioned event.
  3. When the main pool is closed, the wading pool is also closed.
  4. No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the pool during the hourly break.
  5. No one is allowed in the pool with infections cuts or sores. No one is allowed in the pool with bandages, tape or ointments on one's body.
  6. Patrons must shower before entering the pool deck.
  7. Children under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 9 - 11 are not to be left at the pool unaccompanied by an adult unless they (i) pass a swim test (which includes one 25-meter lap in the pool), and (ii) have a completed form signed by their parents on file at the club. Lifeguards will deny pool use to children not meeting these requirements.
  8. An adult must accompany each non-swimming child in the main pool and its surrounding deck.
  9. Any child using a flotation device (such as water wings, an inner tube or ring, or bathing suit built-ins) must be within arms reach of the adult accompanying the child.
  10. Children not toilet trained must wear plastic pants with fitting elastic at the waist and legs under their swim attire in both the main pool and wading pool. Disposable diapers alone are not acceptable.
  11. Children 6 years of age or older are not allowed in the wading pool.
  12. An adult must accompany and supervise children using the wading pool.
  13. All patrons must have proper swim attire in order to enter the pool.
  14. Rough play is not allowed: no running, splashing, shoving or dunking.
  15. No diving into the shallow water.
  16. No flips off the side of the pool.
  17. No talking to lifeguards who are on watch, either in the stand or on the deck.
  18. Drinking and eating are allowed in designated areas only.
  19. No smoking is permitted in the facility.
  20. No glass articles allowed at the facility. THIS MEANS ANYWHERE INSIDE THE FENCE.
  21. Adults have priority use of the furniture.
  22. No tennis balls or hard balls allowed in the pool.
  23. Nerf balls and other pool equipment are allowed only at the lifeguards' discretion.
  24. Lap lanes are reserved for lap swimming with a maximum of four per lane. Please swim on the right side of the lane in both directions.
  25. No swimming across the lap lanes.
  26. No hanging on the lane lines.
  27. No skateboarding, rollerblading, or bicycle riding on Club property.
  28. Prior reservations are required for pool parties where the pavilion and/or gas grill use is requested.
  29. Board approval is required for parties with more than thirty guests. Parties must be scheduled in advance with the pool manager in accordance with the pool party policy.
  30. Patrons will be dismissed from the facility for the following reasons: causing injury to others, use of foul language, faking drowning, disruptive behavior, failing to obey all rules, and refusal to obey lifeguards.

Diving Rules

  1. Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to use the diving boards unless under direct supervision by an adult.
  2. Divers must be able to swim one length (25 meters) of the pool to dive unaccompanied by an adult.
  3. Rough play is not allowed: no running, splashing, shoving or dunking.
  4. Only one person is permitted on the diving board at a time. The next diver may not go up the ladder until the previous diver is off the board.
  5. After diving, the diver must swim directly to the nearest ladder and exit the pool via that ladder. Divers are not to remain under the boards after diving.
  6. Divers may take only one bounce on the diving board.
  7. No one is allowed to remain beneath a diving board to catch another diver. Novices are not permitted to jump into waiting arms, or to be dropped off the board.
  8. Swimming in the diving well is permitted only at the lifeguard's discretion.
  9. Lifeguards are authorized to regulate diving board use, and, if necessary, to revoke individual board privileges if the above rules are violated repeatedly.

Clubhouse Deck and Multipurpose Room Rules

  1. The second floor & deck are open for use under the direction of the Pool Manager.
  2. Children 8 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times on the second floor and deck. Those children ages 9 to 11 who have signed a permission form allowing them to use the pool without adult supervision may also use the deck and second floor without supervision. No supervision is required for ages 12 and over.
  3. There is no running, throwing objects or horseplay allowed.
  4. Everyone must first go through the locker rooms and use the deck stairs to gain access to the second floor. The lobby stairs may be used if the pool is closed, for special events, or at the discretion of the manager on duty.
  5. Board members have priority for the official use of the second floor and balcony areas. During special events and swim meets, the deck and second floor rooms will not be available for general use, instead reserved for the event, even if not actually occupied.
  6. The multi purpose rooms are available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis.
    A maximum of 2 birthday or other small gatherings are allowed at any given time.
    World Pool will manage the reservation system and operation of the second floor.
  7. The Club Board has set the fee to reserve and the rooms as follows:
    $25/hour for one side room
    $50/hour for the entire floor
  8. Members are expected to clean up after themselves. (after parties and regular use)
  9. No smoking on the deck or in the Club House.
  10. Alcoholic beverages may be not consumed except during Club authorized events.
  11. When hanging decorations or signs, no stapling or nailing is allowed to the deck.
    Use tape that can be easily removed and leaves no marks.
    No affixing signs or decorations on the walls of second floor rooms. (Party balloons are ok)
  12. No tables or chairs may be moved on or off the deck without permission.
  13. Those not obeying the rules or directions from staff will lose the privilege of use.
  14. These rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
  15. The maximum capacity of the deck is 42 people.
  16. The maximum capacity of the entire second floor interior is 90 people without tables.

All lifeguards have the authority to enforce the rules. The pool manager has final authority.

Tennis Court Care and Rules

  1. If you use the hydra-blend courts, please remember that it is your obligation to “sweep” the court after each use with one of the 8’ wide “Aussie Clean Sweep” drags which hangs on the fence at each court.
  2. There is a tennis wall on the far hard court for members to use anytime that court is open.
  3. Please place empty cans, bottles, tennis cans in the BLUE recycle bins located at each court and only place trash in the green cans. Thanks in advance.
  4. The club now has a NO GLASS policy for the pavilion.
  5. Courts are for the use of members and their guests only.
