Hamlet Dive Team
The Hamlet Dive Team offers diving instruction of the highest caliber that will improve diving skills at all levels while competing in the NVSL-Dive Division 5. In addition, being a member of the team will fill your summer with fun times, a chance to learn new skills, keep in shape, and build friendships with kids of all ages. The dive team is open to members of the Hamlet Swim and Tennis Club who are between the ages of 7 and 18. Previous dive experience is not required. The season begins May 31 and runs through July 28.
Online registration is available here. Fees per diver are $130.00 for the first two children in a family and $100 per diver for any additional children.
Dive Team Swim Suits
The Dive and Swim Teams will wear the same suits. The style is the Speedo Angles and can be purchased at Team Registration Open House in the Hamlet Clubhouse from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, May 27. Team suits can also be purchased at Sports Fair at 5010 Lee Highway, Arlington.

Head Coach Meaghan Abelein will rejoin the Hamlet Dive Team for the summer of 2017. A native of Rochester, N.Y., Abelein currently serves as the head diving coach at The Catholic University of America where she doubles as the Athletic Communications Assistant.
Prior to Catholic, Coach Abelein was the diving coach as Nazareth College in Pittsford, N.Y., along with Varsity Diving Coach at Gates Chili High School and assistant coach at USA diving club, Upstate Diving. She earned her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Geneseo and was a four-time junior college honorable mention All-American at Monroe Community College - twice in 1-meter diving, once in 3-meter diving and once in the 200-yard breaststroke.
In her spare time, Coach Abelein likes to stay active by lap swimming, running and hiking. She currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
